Systems Administrator

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Administrator who is able to handle a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. You will work on a diverse set of systems across multiple clients in the Houston area.

Requirements

Technical Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office 365: Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, etc.
  • IT fundamentals: IP networking, security, internet technologies, and computer hardware
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot desktop, server, and networking issues
  • Powershell and/or or Python scripting knowledge is preferred
  • Datacenter infrastructure knowledge (VMware, SAN, etc.) is preferred

Personal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, on-time, personable, and customer-focused
  • Solid writing skills to document work completed and communicate with customers
  • Desire to learn, both independently and through mentorship

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud services
  • 3+ years of experience with end-user support
  • Experience with VMware, SANs, and datacenter technologies preferred
  • Experience working for an IT Services Provider (ITSP) or Managed Services Provider (MSP) preferred
