Job description

We're looking for an individual who can thrive in a dynamic, startup environment. If you're tech-savvy and an excellent communicator, you may be a great fit for this opening. The Account Manager position is responsible for the overall satisfaction and growth of existing clients. To do this effectively, you need to understand our clients' IT challenges and offer insightful solutions to meet their business goals.

This position is about 75% remote (work from home) and 25% in-person, but we do meet in person with clients and each other regularly enough that this role is only for those who live in the Houston area.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead clients through the entire customer journey, from pre-sales and onboarding to ongoing account management
  • Collaborate with other team members, including technical staff, to prepare proposals and quotes
  • Develop and grow existing client relationships by understanding customer goals and challenges and matching these to solutions offered by Virtuas
  • Develop and deliver professional webinars and in-person presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Help ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to company standards
  • Gather success stories from customers and share these stories with others


What it takes to be successful:

  • Bachelors degree or 4+ years working in B2B account management
  • Amazing communicator, with an entrepreneurial mind and awesome personality
  • A technical mindset, with ability to pick up new ideas, concepts, and technologies very quickly
  • Existing knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft 365, networking, security, and servers
  • Ability to work within a startup culture that is fast-paced with minimal structure
