IT Consultant
We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Consultant who is able to handle a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
This position is for an experienced IT professional. In this role, you will implement and support diverse set of on-premise and cloud solutions for a variety of companies. This position is about 75% remote (work from home) and 25% in-person. Since we meet in person with clients and each other regularly, this role is only for those who live in the Houston area.
Technical Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with datacenter technologies, including Virtualization (VMware), containerization (Kubernetes), storage systems (FC, iSCSI), and server operating systems
- Experience with cloud implementations and migrations, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365
- Experience configuring networking technologies including firewalls, switches, wireless, and routers
- PowerShell and/or or Python scripting
- Ability to independently troubleshoot desktop, server, and networking issues
- Industry certifications (CCNA, Network+, MCP, VCP, etc.) is preferred
- Experience working for an IT Services Provider (ITSP) or Managed Services Provider (MSP) is a plus
